The Undisputed Best Brood Sow In The World
The World Leader In Pigs Per Sow Per Year

America's Sowherd Needs Chester White
Since 1996, the Chester White breed, in cooperation with a major Midwestern university swine research herd, has been jointly testing Chester White genetics.  Results show that Chester White sired females produced 1.4 more pigs weaned per sow compared to the world's most popular maternal genetics.  Perhaps this will prove once again, as it did in the early 1990's at yet another four year study at another university, that Chester White genetics are a must in America's Sowherd.

Meat Quality - The Standard For Comparison

A ten-year National Barrow Show Progeny Sire test verified by the National Pork Producers Council, testing all major genetic lines have proven that Chester White genetics rank near the top in pH, marbling, cooking loss, color scores, tenderness, intramuscular fat, juiciness, minolta reading, and lipid content.  In fact, in most cases, they rank 5% - 30% better than other maternal lines.  In the total scores using the NBS progeny test rankings, the nearest maternal line is nearly 50% lower than Chester White.
